In-School Field Trips For Grades K-5
Meet Budget Goals with Field Trips that come to your school!
It is just that simple! Our science in-school field trips allow students to work on at least 3 engaging activities without leaving the school.
Students perform hands-on science experiments which fully support state and national science performance standards.
We bring our portable, mini-labs to you!
All of our in school field trip science lessons help engage students in classifying, observing, comparing, critical thinking, predicting, hypothesizing, sequencing, measuring, and experimenting. Students learn identification of properties and experimentation involving life, earth, and physical science concepts. Each lab is different, fun, hands-on, and very educational!
Details and Pricing
All supplies, materials, lesson plans, and instructors are provided.
We take complete care of set up, break down, and cleaning.
We have integrated the National New Generation Science Standards into our curriculum offerings.
Labs will last about 90 minutes depending on the school’s schedule and which lab it is.
The cost of the program is $8.00 per student for Elementary aged children. If there are under 30 children, the cost is $250.
To book a class, a $100 non-refundable deposit must be paid the day of booking. Classes must be booked at least two weeks in advance. The $100 will be deducted out of the total amount the remainder balance must be paid at least 2 DAYS before we do the class.
This one combines science and history! Students will see how an underwater volcano looks after it erupts, get to hold and learn about rocks and minerals made from volcano's, and get to see a "child-size" volcano erupt up to 25 feet high! Our big volcano eruption is a very realistic simulator that includes the steam, volcano sounds, and more. Students will also get to hold a real dinosaur tooth, see fossils up close, and explore paleontology gear and tools!
Solar and wind energy
Students will get to fly a 50 foot long solar air bag outside, use wind energy to generate light, see the world's smallest solar powered car, and more!
Use static wands to make objects levitate in the air, experiment with many magnetic activities, and use their own energy to conduct electricity!
Marine Biology: Dive deeper into learning more about what is in the sea! Students get to touch and hold many different types of life forms found in the ocean, look under a microscope at ocean water and sand, create a wave in a bottle and a jelly fish, and take home a real shark tooth!
Learn more about the weather in freezing temps! What happens when bubbles freeze? How is snow made? Students will get a chance to create frozen bubbles, make snow, and learn all about sleet, snow, ice, and more!
Students will get to create their own colorful fizzy foam reaction and watch basic chemical reactions. They will participate in our glow chemistry lab with black lights where they will learn what makes things glow, glow brighter or dimmer, and how to make things glow-in-the-dark. Students will get to take home the objects they make glow in the dark.
Rocks, minerals, and crystals
Children will get to hold and observe various types of rocks and minerals, see them up close under a microscope, and make their own colorful crystals to grow and take home!
Journey through NASA!
This awesome mini-lab gives insight to what astronauts do! Students get to try on NASA suits, eat space food, and blast off a rocket that goes up to 1,600 feet in the air!
Bee's, pollen, and honey!
In this mini-lab, children get to learn all about bees and what part they play in our ecosystem. They get to try different types of honey, look at honey combs and pollen under a microscope, and much more!
Bugs and Botany
(Only offered March through Sept)
Observe live, rare types of moths and butterflies, a live ant farm, a roly-poly playground, and more! Get a closer look at the insects that surround us! Students will also get to feed a Venus fly trap plant and look at different types of plants and flowers under a microscope. This mini-lab is one-of-a-kind!
Students are introduced into the world of scientific research and analytical thinking through a series of fun projects revolving around water gel beads and polymers, and create their own water filtration system out of natural resources.
